About Hireware
A managed hiring service running on a purpose-built system. Software brings speed and structure; experienced operators apply judgment where software can’t, so your team gets its time back without trading away the quality of the hire.
The problem
When an organization posts a role, the resumes arrive fast. Hundreds of them, sometimes thousands for a position in a saturated field. The small business owner and the lean HR team are simultaneously managing multiple hiring managers, multiple decision teams, and a cascade of applications from every job board they posted to.
Understaffed, they start making decisions shaped by their capacity to traverse the sequence of tasks, not by the quality of the people in front of them. The best candidate in the stack does not always win. The one who arrived at the right moment in the coordinator's inbox does.
Hireware was built to change that. By targeting the top of the funnel and centralizing resumes from wherever a company sources, we compress the timeline between posting and offer without cutting corners on evaluation.
The team
Managing Partner
Willie Dozier has spent over 30 years as a decision-maker in management roles at Fortune 1000 companies and public sector organizations at the county, state, and federal level.
In those roles, he has requisitioned and closed hundreds of positions across technical and marketing disciplines: HubSpot coordinators, data analysts, desktop support specialists, senior application developers, UI/UX developers, and directors and managers across marketing, technology, and operations.
Hireware is built from that seat: the person who has filed the requisition, reviewed the stack, waited on manager feedback, and watched a strong hire fall apart at the offer stage.
Client Experience Strategist
Nic Pollard spent over 30 years in customer experience and logistics working the gap between how a service is supposed to run and how customers actually experience it. He was an Operations Manager in logistics before moving into customer experience at a Fortune 500 airline, where he started by leading a 22-person team with one job: make the experience hold when the operation doesn’t.
That background produces an instinct most advisors lack: process gaps surface at the point of contact, not in quarterly reviews, felt by the person on the receiving end before anyone in the org chart.
Nic brings that lens to Hireware: identifying where friction accumulates for the hiring team and candidate, and ensuring the coordination layer holds under real operational conditions.
Origin
Hireware is a product of Bessemer Legacy, a management and technology consulting firm. It was built to solve a problem Bessemer Legacy kept encountering with its own clients: the operational breakdown between a well-funded hiring intent and a signed offer. What started as a tool for BL clients is now a standalone product, marketed and operated independently.
The people
A core part of the Hireware model is the people who run managed engagements. We are building a network of fractional HR partners: experienced professionals who have run searches across industries and know how to take a role from intake to close. They are the human layer that sits between the system and your hiring team.
